Oyster continued; Fitting the Apron and Stem




Here we have the apron glued and cramped onto the frames and the hog.As you can see it involves quite a few clamps to keep it all in position.
On the picture below you can see a batten and a metal straight edge. They are there to transfer the water lines from the frames onto the apron.


Here the stem is being fixed onto the apron with bolts all the way through.









The keel and deadwood being put into place; fitting the deadwood was very tricky due to its shape (almost a even sided triangle, but not quite...)







Fairing in.



Keel glued and bolted on (including opening for centreboard).
